Opis
St Mary’s Church soaring „like… the heart in the centre of the body” in the very centre of Kraków, by its main Market Square, along the Royal Route connecting St Lawrence Gate to Wawel Castle, is arguably the most immediately recognisable symbol of what might be called Poland’s heartland. The walls of this extraordinary church, not unlike the works of art gathered within, are proof of the profound devotion of the great monarchs, wealthy patricians, and ordinary townspeople.
